Fredric Kong is a PhD candidate at MIT’s Department of Economics interested in the economic institutions core to political life, including the labour market. He graduated with a Master of Applied Science from MIT at the age of 18, concurrently concluding his International Baccalaureate diploma. Following his master’s, he served two years of National Service as a senior officer in the Singapore Police Force.
