The Wall Street Journal references Blueprint Labs Co-Director Nikhil Agarwal in a new article that contemplates the role of AI in medical diagnosis. In a recent experiment, Agarwal and co-authors Alex Moehring, Pranav Rajpurkar, and Tobias Salz found that while AI predictions were more accurate than two-thirds of radiologists, when radiologists were given access to AI predictions, their diagnostic accuracy did not improve.
